As I was taking our dogs out for their morning 4:45am romp, I noticed some color starting to peek out over the horizon, and decided to take the short walk to the beach to get a better look. Such peace! For a short time, it felt as though mother nature was putting on this show just for me. Scenes like this are one of the many reasons to love the UP!!

After a day spent hiking in the Porcupine Mountains State Park, Jess and I were headed back to our hotel. Before mother nature would let us leave the park however, she wanted to give us one last beautiful scene to soak in and enjoy!
